Hello-Introduction and Cat Tree question

I'm new to this forum. I have a cat named Crickett and a newly adopted
feral 4 month old kitten named Lola (from the movie "Run Lola Run")

I would like to know if anyone has ever made a homemade cat tree, and if so,
do you have a picture or blueprints on how to make my own. I'm slighting
word worked challenged.
