Big Mama has dinner time at about the same time every night.
She knows what time it is.
She demands to come inside sometimes to see that *I* know
what time it is.
So I let her in, and she reaches up towards the cabinet
where her food is kept.
I get her food ready on a paper plate and tell her; "go on
outside", as I put her food outside because she likes being
out during the summer months.
She heads towards the door, and as she goes out, the
anticipation is just too much...the end of her tail twitches.

I noticed when Big Mama is *really* happy and content,
her whiskers twitch.
This happens when I pet her softly and whisper sweet
nothings into her ear.
I chaulk this up to the closest thing to laughing a cat can
have.

It sounds like a form a joyous alertness! Cats generally twitch their tails
and whiskers when they're alert. No doubt, this is a special delighted
alertness. Purrfect.
