I created a page of cats yawning page at my cats' web site:

http://www.geocities.com/ourcats1961/categories/ourcats_funny/YAWNING.html

It includes a poll on a vote for the funniest yawn!

Have you ever noticed that when a cat yawns, the whiskers 'fold' forwards??

This has been bugging me for a couple of days. Which way do the whiskers go?
I just watched Isis yawn and her whiskers fold backwards. Your cats'
whiskers fold forwards?

I don't think the cheeks on all cats stretch exactly the same way. When my
Deetoo yawns, I've looked for which direction her whiskers fold, but so far
I've been distracted by her mouth full of teeth.

There is nothing unusual about a cat having a mouth full of teeth.

Well, would you find out, please? I just can't imagine that the whiskers
fold forwards. This one is getting to me.

Thanks.

I love all of the yawn pics! I couldn't vote for just one favorite!

I just watched my Missy yawn, her whiskers definitely fold forwards.

Hi everyone.  I will be closing the list of new entrees for the poll
tomorrow.  Hurry and submit your yawning pics!  If you haven't voted
yet, here is the page:

http://www.geocities.com/ourcats1961/categories/ourcats_funny/YAWNING.html

There is a link there to the newest entries which will be eligible for
the poll.
