Hi again, I always try to make sure I've closed the lid on my toilet but I sometimes forget and turns out Kitty went and had a drink from it... Normally I'd not be worried but I have one of those toilet water cleaner things (the 2in1 kind that last for months). Now I'm quite worried. Would just a few sips be enough to be dangerous? This is supported by the observation that if the cats can see a reflection of a bright object (an overhead light bulb) they tend to do less playing in the water and dragging the bowl around. If you haven't notice anything for several hours or a few days then there probably isn't any problem. However, just to ease your concern, email the maker of the cleaner and ask them what is in it. As an aside, my Deetoo likes to jump on the toilet to be closer to me when I shave and do my teeth every morning. One morning I was sitting in the bath tub and he decided to come to and see what I was doing. He jumped over the side of the bath tub and as he was mid air on his way into the tub, I can distinctly remember the "URK" noise he made as realized it was full of water. Meanwhile, I'm sure the kerfuffle and the ensuing indignant look (and can't they ever give you some doozies?!) would have had you laughing so hard that you almost gave a whole new meaning to the term "p in bath"!
