Tiger has been spending a lot of time recently grooming, lifting his leg in
the air to get at his lower belly, whether he's trying to masturbate? - he's
neutered.
At night in bed he keeps waking me up with his gymnastic gyrations doing
grooming.
When I try to scratch and feel for fleas or ticks (Which he CANT have
because he's an indoors cat mostly and has all the treatments for fleas
etc.) he lets me scratch and then starts to groom me. He's lately become
very submissive and especially wanting lifted for cuddles, frequently going
to sleep on my chest. He also started moulting excessively recently - the
bedroom and all my clothes are a mess with hairs.
Any thoughts appreciated.

You're lucky he's affectionate....I gave my cats a questionnaire....The
first question was, "What do you think of your master?" They all answered,
"What's a master?"

Rainbow is like that. She has an allergy to fleas and mites. Take him to the
vet to get him checked out. Just to be on the safe side. :)

Chickens and birds moult.  Cats shed.
