I'm in the UK and looking for a palatable worming tablet that I can give to
my cats and avoid the monthly ritual of the cat having a dickey fit whilst I
try and shove the tablets down their throats.  None of us like the game, and
I usually end up being mauled to shreds with teeth and claws going in all
directions, as I try to open jaw with one hand, throw the pill down with the
other, with the cat firmly lodged under my arm, like a set of bag pipes.
I've googled for over an hour for something, but can't find anything.  Can't
believe they haven't come up with something a lot less painful for me and
the cat!

They make something called  a pill pocket that you can hid the pill inside

I've given up on pills & use the drops you put on the skin (at the back of
the neck) instead.

Pricier, about £2 a dose - but a lot easier

I'll second that..! It took three of us to hold down my Missy at the vet
once when trying to give her a pill..!

I use Stronghold (monthly) for fleas, roundworm and ear mites, then
Droncit for tapeworm every 3 months. You have to get it from the vet but
it works and saves a *lot* of hassle :-)
