I used to have a piano-playing cat, too. If I was in the living room
doing whatever and Bijou wanted something, he'd get up on the piano
bench, start banging away, and look over his shoulder to see if I was
noticing. At times it was cute. But when he started doing it in the
small hours of the morning to wake me up, I finally had to close the
cover on the keyboard.

That's the coolest thing I've ever seen. I thought my cat was cool
when he walked on the keys when I played.
