To All British Citizens who care
Your Parliament is voting soon to ban the
sale of Foie Gras.
Dr Marc Cooper, RSPCA senior scientific
officer says "RSPCA is strongly opposed
to the production of foie gras whereby
the birds are kept in cages and force-fed
to produce a very large and fatty liver.
This is a cruel practice and undoubtedly
results in unnecessary suffering. We would
encourage food retailers and restaurants
that are currently selling foie gras to
seriously reconsider their support for this
cruel practice."

Take some chicken livers, boil them for 20 minutes or so, chop them up and
mix them with onion salt. ground black pepper, and mayonnaise, and you get a
spread that is every bit as good as foie gras, and a lot cheaper.
