Kitties can at times be unpredictable when their emotions get going. Some cats are 1 owner cats, they won't tolerate another cat around thier owner, especially the same gender. And a portion of those will go into attack mode, and attack any 'body' who comes near them...aka: misdirected aggression. That kitty is going to fight, win, lose or draw is not the motivation at that point, it's just all about the fight. Obviously, the cat owner make an uninformed decision with regards to cats.
