Not true. Although I do suggest you neuter your existing cat asap.

I would have a litter box, since that is probably what he is used to. If
you would consider it, I would suggest adopting two littermates. Not
only do littermates do great together, it will help keep them busy and
not annoying your older cat.

Actually, these kittens have been living outside and are not
litterbox-trained.

It would be nice but I don't know if I could handle three cats, or afford
them. I guess my greatest concern is that it would affect the relationship
with my current cat, I wouldn't want him to feel offended and leave home.
