I had to put my little boy to sleep on 18 Nov 2005. His name was Yes. He
was just a stray cat that came out of the woods behind my house. I don't
think I will ever get over him. We have other cats but Yes was special.
I spread his ashes in the woods, for he loved them so & I visit him
every day. R.I.P. Yes

I'm sorry for your loss. I hope the good memories you have of Yes brings
you some comfort even a year later.

Michael something I wrote to add to the rainbow bridge poem. I hold it in
my heart for all the ones I have lost. I hope it can help you as it helps
me everyday.
Always remember We will be there even if you can't see us.
We are always Watching and Waiting. That cool puff of air you
feel across your cheek, that fleeting touch, the feeling you have
that I was walking across your bed, that moment you swear you can
hear us, that flicker of movement out of the corner of your eye.
Is just our way of saying I love you and I am with you always even
in the darkest time We Will Always Be There. Till our paws touch again
always know we love you and cherished our special time together

Michael, I know the feeling. It was a year on 20th October when I lost
"my" Sheba. She wasn't really mine as such, she was a resident at the Cats
Protection rescue shelter where I volunteer, but she'd become my "baby"
over the months we'd had her.
I feel for your loss.

Hugs!
Yes the anniversaries are the worse bits (both for cats and humans I
have lost) I always try to take a little bit of time to remember the
good bits on that day..To take out photos and have a little smile- we
are better off knowing them than not.
