Most airlines won't transport cats anymore.....and if they do, be
prepared
to pay about what a regular airfare for a person is.
You have to call the various airlines to first find if they do such
things,
then track down specific flights that do.
The airliner cargo hold has to be pressurrized and heated for the
animal to
stay alive. Some airliners don't have that.
And they won't let you bring kitty to sit beside you.

jeez, so how do people move kitty across the country?? Are Amtrak and
self-driving the only options?
