He was not antagonizing the gator. He was basically teaching the kid
look at the nice majestic animal....but do so carefully. As
beautiful and majestic as they are they can also be very dangerous.

off topic subject.... Here is some follow up information I knew would
hit the Internet sooner or later. It backs up my allegations that Irwin
gained his celebrity status through mishandling and harassment
innocent animals.

Read your own articles Fisherman cut off sting rays tails so they
won't get stung. The only reason it is even coming in to media is due to
his death and typical media making a story where there is none. Ask any
salt water fisherman what they do if they are alone when they catch a
stingray
And the other report is done by PETA anything they report is always
suspect notice there was not an author to your article
