I know what this cat is thinking---"Where does the water go after it
goes down the hole?"
You can just see it trying to figure out the mechanics of flushing.

Clearly, animals do reason in a way that sort of resembles human
reasoning.

Paul Harvey had a story a while back about a guy who couldn't
figure out why his water bill was so high. He was home
sick one day and discovered why. His cat had figured out
how to flush the toilet and was doing so......very often.
