People do not care for their pets
Yesterday afternoon a little neighbor girl comes knocking at my door,
holding a 2-3 mn old kitten. She had found it..her mom is allergic to
cats...which I wonder now...her mom was in my house once and never mentioned
being allergic to our cats..It had a flea collar on it..but it also had red,
blue and yellow color markings all over it. At first I thot it may be spray
paint, but after trying (she wouldnt hold still for very long)to wash it
off, I think it may be color markers.
I put an ad in the paper to see if it belongs to anyone. If not, will have
to find another home for it. I already have 6 of my own...who are not
exactly crazy about the new kit on the block.

The fact that kitten is wearing a flea collar makes me think perhaps
kitty has loving slaves who are currently worried about her. If you let
cats out, there are some sick people out there, who might have caught
the kitten and painted them

Or maybe the cat saw the wet paint sign and chose to ignore it?

One of the problems with cat law is a cat could have numerous owners
none of whom know about each other.

Have been asking others if they would like a cute kitten. If no responses,
will need to take it to the Animal Shelter next week. I am on a very limited
income as it is.
Hope someone responds to the ad I placed.

Thanks for taking it in for now.  At least taking it to a shelter it
has a chance for a home where as otherwise who know what would have
happened ot it !!

I know this will not go over well but I would rather see a kitten in a
shelter even though there may be a chance of being put down.  At least
there they have a chance of finding a home where they are wanted and
loved.  I hate to see a kitten on the streets fending for itself.  At
least older strays have a bit more of a chance making it if the do not
get taken in - I think.

I do have it in my home...I will not let it out...it is not smart enough to
get out of ways of traffic or the other toms in the neighborhood. I had one
stray kitten last year who was run over in our alley heading to my house. It
was hard on me, thinking I should had took it in and looked for the owner.
I guess I am the pied piper of cats in our neighborhood

well, it seems Feisty will have a stay of execution. I found some one who
will take it in a couple weeks,,,She will pay for the vet to check him
out...I told her I was concerned that the vet would say he had leukemia,
like Weiner did (a cat we took in last year) and need to be put to
sleep...She said NO--way put him to sleep...She is caring for another one
with that,so she would take him sooner if that is the case.I feel much
better about his future.
