Some disease on cat's paw

My 5-month old female brown tabby got some disease on her paw. Looks
like some kind of ulcer, a dry one, ate away her thumb. What is it, how
to treat it, and is it contagious? Image here:

Get to a vet..! If you are in any way unsure, that is what to do. If it's
money you're worried about, most vets will come to some sort of
arrangement about payment, but the cat is the first priority.
