Please excuse this offtopic post but I am trying to spread awareness of
atrocities being commited to animals.  If you love animals as I do,
please help prevent the cruelty by boycotting IAMS and EUKANUBA
products for their inhumane treatment of animals.  Please spread the
word!

Anything that has to do with PETA is not to be trusted

Why do you say that?

Let me rephrase that  when It comes to anything that PETA supports or
protest or is involved in should be suspect and approached with suspicion.
Too many of their supporters and the agencies efforts  go about doing the
right thing  in the wrong fashion

But is that necessarily their fault..?

If the agency; which they do too many times than not, goes on their
supporters words and information they provide without checking it out  yes
it is

Of course it is. There's too many instances where they've turned their
animal protection into over zealous actions.

Do you excuse al-Qaeda for any of their actions just because they believe
without question in what they're doing? Peta doesn't fall into the al-Qaeda
category for killing and true carnage, but in the relatively more benign
animal rights world, they're up there.

I would still like to have more "concrete" information about how not- good
PETA is.  I only read about them in the papers occasionally, so I am neither
for nor against them.

How vague is this?  What agencies?  What right thing?  What wrong fashion?
Please post some actual examples so I can have a look at what they say.

Please give an example of their "over zealous actions", I look forward to
reading the references.  What is over zealous?  Have they torched houses or
labs?

Of course not.  al-Qaeda are a load of mediaeval sh.ts who kill animals and
women for fun. But how clever of you to equate PETA with al-Qaeda, so that
PETA will be tarred with the same brush.

I'm still asking, what has PETA done that is so bad?  I'm not that au fait
with the animal rights lobbies, but it does seem to me that you're casting a
few aspersions - although I could be wrong, please see your human rights
lawyer if I've insulted you in any way - :-).

An answer to my question, with concrete evidence of ill-doing, would be
appreciated.  As an animal-lover, I need to know.  I wait to be convinced or
converted.

I use cruelty-free shampoo, or so it says on the label.  How do we even
know?

nasty at times...

Unfortunately, that is not helpful. Actually, there are several known
sane members (my favorite being Elvira!). Can you be more specific?
