Guys,
I just had to rush my cat into the emergency vet.

I found him at the bottom of the garden  lying on his side panting with his
tongue out and crying in pain.

I picked him up and took him to his mat.

He couldn't move his back legs and was pulling himself around with his front
paws.

I drove him to the vet and I've been told that he's in shock and has lost
all feeling in his hind legs.
The vet said that he might have been run over by a car as there is evidence
showing that his front paws are badly grazed.

I told the vet that this thing has happened three times before (after he's
eaten Supermeat) and then he's right as reign shortly after.
The vet then said in that case it might be a slipped disc.
He's being kept in and they will phone me later.

Please prey for him.

Prayers, purrs and regrets on way.  Hope he is feeling better soon.

If it has happened before after eating Supermeat while keep giving it
to him??

I have no idea what supermeat is but I would find it doubtful that
it would be connected to the inability of move the back legs.

I'm not a vet nor do I play one on TV but my inclination is the
two are not connected.

Why would you say the food is connected to the paralysis of the back
legs?  And if that is indeed the case why would you continue to feed
the food to the cat?

It's with great regret that I have to inform you that my cat, Cutely, passed
away last night.

The vet said his heart was in a very bad way with clots and he was in
terrible pain.

I held him and kissed him whilst the vet game him the injection.

If tears could bring him back then he would be hear forever.

I've put him to rest under my pergola where I can talk to him.

I'll miss my baby so much.
I'll love you always Cutely.

I can't stop crying.

Regards,
R

That's so sad, but you know he's not in pain any more. Know that he will
always love you and you will see him again over the Rainbow Bridge.

Many purrs from me and my Missy.

No words can heal your pain, only time & knowing you will see Cutely one
day.
My sincere condolences on your lost. Only losing a child could be
harder.

I feel your pain and sharing tears with you for your loss.  Hold these in
your heart they will help

Always remember We will be there even if you can't see us.
We are always Watching and Waiting. That cool puff of air you
feel across your cheek, that fleeting touch, the feeling you have
that I was walking across your bed, that moment you swear you can
hear us, that flicker of movement out of the corner of your eye.
Is just our way of saying I love you and I am with you always even
in the darkest time We Will Always Be There. Till our paws touch again
always know we love you and cherished our special time together

               A Prayer for Animals

Hear our humble prayer, O God, for our friends the animals,
especially for animals who are suffering;
for animals that are overworked, underfed and cruelly treated;
for all wistful creatures in captivity that beat their wings against bars;
for any that are hunted or lost or deserted or frightened or hungry;
for all that must be put death.
We entreat for them all Thy mercy and pity,
and for those who deal with them we ask a heart of compassion
and gentle hands and kindly words.
Make us, ourselves, to be true friends to animals,
and so to share the blessings of the merciful.

Thank you all for your kind words.

As I was hugging him and kissing him I told him that I would see him again.

Yep.....it's tough.....real tough.
He had a good life, thanks to someone who cared that much.
He doesn't regret a second of it.

PS. That's what we're here for.
Most of the people here know that same exact pain, some like me,
multiple times.
There's not a month goes by without someone sharing the same type of
love and loss you just did in this group.
Just remember, it's not how they die, it's how they live that makes all
the difference.
And to hug your pet everyday and treat them with the everyday dignity
they deserve.

You have my sympathies. It's never easy letting go of a family member.

Have they done xrays?   Maybe further examination?   Sounds like
a spine injury, nerve damage?

The results are posted in a new post under a subject with the correct
spelling ( I need to share my sadness) and in it he says the cat has
been put down.
