Okay - we need to name our 4th fur-baby. He is a beautiful brown/black
tabby/siamese mix (maybe abysinian too) with gorgeous blue eyes and a
very unique patterning - the tabby patterning is only on his head and
one half of his body the other side is all white. He is already proving
to be quite the mischief maker, but we do not want to call him
mischief. Any good names of mischievous characters - fantasy, sci-fi,
literature??? We are seriously considering Puck, and possibly Radar
(due to his huge ears) but I would love some other suggestions. Poor
thing, he's been home almost 3 full days and he is still nameless!!
HELP!!!!!

"Gee Whiz"?

Click on the following link - you'll find some great cat/kitten names and
their meanings    http://www.cat-names.us/

Hope you find something really appropriate for your new fur-baby!.

When we got our two, we chose rather ordinary names - Rosie for our Calico,
and Ebony for our jet black fatty-puss (but we always call her Bonnie)

How about these:
1.  Nameless.
2.  He who must not be named.
3.  Logan
4.  Spike
5.  Lex
6.  Cole
7.  Dumbledor
8.  Anakin Skywalker

Yes, Spike was my first thought, too.  Of course I'm biased as I have a
torbie named Buffy who survived a toss from a car on a freeway as a kitten,
had surgery to repair her injuries. She is terminally cute and "blonde" and
obviously a tough little survivor like her namesake
the early days: http://www.davidandmollie.com/kitty/tinycat.htm

It does sound appropriate to his unique appearance and personality.

Would love to see pictures if you can post them to the web!
Congratulations!

If I had it to do over and/or had half a dozen cats I would choose names
like Nozy Bizniz, Monkey Bizniz, or
BadCat.

On Star Trek - Next Generation, "Q" - that was his name, "Q", was the
essence of mischief. On Star Wars there were these little furry things that
danced in the woods but I don't know their names. Wookie was the big furry
guy but he was more meat and potatoes rather than being mischievous.
Gremlins are notorious for goofing up the works in airplanes. They've been
doing it since World War II. If this cat is really down with the mischief
deal I would think seriously about "Q".

Chewie was a wookie, Ewoks are what the poster is looking for.

On my Catpage there are lists of everyone who posts to the various Cat
Newsgroups [except people who have not given me their details, of
course].  There are a few hundred of them, and there are over 1000 names
of cats there.  See

       http://blakjak.com/hpcop_ad.htm

You could try looking at Dave Ratcliffe's Catnames List, with over
6000 names.  See

       http://www.microserve.com/~dave/catnames.html

Flippy has a list of cat names on her site, provided by people on the
newsgroups, with over 3500 names.  See

       http://www.flippyscatpage.com/catnames.html

There is a site called "Get a Random Cat Name" and that does just
that, with the name changing every few seconds.  Why not visit?  See

       http://www.alistair.com/catname

Another site with over 15000 names is
