Hi, We have a friend who has a cat he claims is male, however, the only obvious sexual organs are 6/8 nipples. The question I have is - human males have useless nipples, do male cats? And more generally, do all male mammals have useless nipples? Do any have milk producing nipples?! I would greatly appreciate any replies. Cheers, John I have 2 male cats, both have nipples. I would greatly >appreciate any replies. I'm not sure about *all* mammals, but in all mammals I've encountered, including cats, the males have nipples. It's not hard to determine if a grown up cat (albeit neutered/spayed) is a male or a female. Look at the genitals. If the part closest to the nipples looks like a dot, it's a male. If it looks like a slit, it's a female. If you *really* have to know, you could always try to pull the foreskin back and see the penis. SignatureVictor M.
