I'm not sure about *all* mammals, but in all mammals I've encountered,
including cats, the males have nipples. It's not hard to determine if a
grown up cat (albeit neutered/spayed) is a male or a female. Look at the
genitals. If the part closest to the nipples looks like a dot, it's a male.
If it looks like a slit, it's a female. If you *really* have to know, you
could always try to pull the foreskin back and see the penis.

Not all male mammals have nipples. Male rats don't.
