Dying cat makes friends with deer

Indoor's all his life and declawed, 2 day's before Sammy died,
he finally got his wish to go outside......and make friends with some
deer.
RIP Sammy.

Thanks for the story...

btw:   years ago I had a cat who went outside to die

and just sat on the fence...an entire family of racoons just walked over her
as if she was not there...
not only could they sense no threat...they barely noticed her at all.

the funny thing is that after sitting on the fence for several months....
she recovered and did not die after all!

Wait, I am so curious to understand this: She was your (indoor?) cat
and when she didn't feel well, she just "sat outside at the fence for
several months"? Did you try to bring her in? Take her to the vet? What
did she eat and drink? Did you have to feed her outside?
