At what age can kittens leave the nest and go off to their adopted homes. I've heard anywhere from 6 to 12 weeks. Better wait until they got their first vaccicination, when they're about nine weeks old. Having one that young is a lot of work, but well worth it. 12 weeks old would be far better for the average new owner and kitten.
