Claw Injury

I was just trimming my cat's claws, and I noticed one of her claws on her
left hind foot is completely missing. Right down to where it retracts. There
appears to be very slight drainage, and the area is slightly reddened. She's
somewhat subdued, but she's still attempting to hop up on the high pieces of
furniture I have. Is there anything I can put on the area to aid in healing,
and what can I expect to see in regards to healing? Will the nail re-grow
(as I said it's very close to the cat's paw pad)? If it doesn't will it
eventually present a problem with her mobility? Any advice is appreciated.

See a vet..! *Now..!*

If it's the cost you're worried about, what is more important, money or
your cat's wellbeing..? Most vets will be prepared to come to some
agreement about a payment plan if you're not very well off (for which
there is no shame, BTW) but see the vet first and worry about the rest
afterwards..!

Purrs for your kitty's well being, please let us know what happens.

I'd be concerned about blood loss, excessive blood loss, and
infection.  Also if any bleeding is still occuring internally.

The first thing I'd do is take the cat to the vet for xrays.  My first
concern would be internal bleeding and/or internal damage.   I have no
idea if the claw can be replaced.   Maybe the cat lost the claw in a
fight with whatever animal it got into a fight with?
