PETA has gone further overboard, in case you were wondering if that
were possible.  Now they are objecting to the name "Siamese" cat and
want it changed to "Asian" in order to be PC (reminds me of the silly
controversy over Indian mascots for sports teams).

Is worse.  Siam-ese cats came from the Siam area, didn't they ?
What's with kids nowadays - they never learnt the old maps and
nomenclatures of the world before before it got all soft and
mushy and the boundaries moved about, things got called
something new, and the Brits now get a sunset ?

...and that could lead to confusion in the UK - the Burmillas are now come
under the "Asian" banner under GCCF rules.
