Hi,
Can any one help me with a problem that I am having at my aunts home. My
aunt had many, many cats before she passed away and it took over 3 months to
find new homes for them. The question that I have involves cat urine odor in
the house. The house requires a lot of work but I cant seem to get any one
to work in there because of the odor. Does anyone know of any solutions to
remove the urine odor. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks so much,

Are you sure it was the cats who pissed all over the house? I mean, where's
the evidence?
Anyway, the ultimate solution would be to burn the place down. Use lots of
petrol, and remember to make sure the insurance papers are all in order
first.

You will have to seal the drywall. To do this paint the drywall with '
WHITE SHELLAC', it will seal the drywall. You can get the paint at Home
Depot, Lowes etc. Then paint the house with a good quality paint ,such
as Benjamin More. If the house has hardwood floors & the urine has
soaked into the wood, best to put down NEW HARDWOOD or NEW SUBFLOOR then
carpet. This is the only way to get rid ofodor.

For other types of things, ie: Those you can wash, use Lysol in
the bottle, to the tune of 1 whole bottle per washload or equiv
and let it soak overnight. Then wash as normal. Lysol is THE
best thing I have found in 21 years to get rid of kittie pee.
If the x-item ain't worth the $3 for a bottle, throw it away.
