Does your cat give you any "looks"?
Whenever I admonish Big Mama for something wrong
(which she rarely does anything wrong), she gives
me "the look"......like most females, she kind of squints
her eyes and stares at me, as if she saying, "who the
f_-k are you to tell me I can't do that"?
She understands the word "no".....and she don't like it.
I suppose her look is better than what she used to do to me
when I said "no"......
she used to grab on to my lower leg, bite me then run off!

Oh yes my cats often give me "the look" or one of "the look(s)" anyway. I
have one that will stand by the water bowl look at me look at the water bowl
look at me, and if I am still too dense to realize that she wants some more
water in the bowl, she will meow at me. I have one that is actually more
feral than anything but we have had her since she was a young adult/ old
kitten (old enough to already be going feral and not easily reversed). That
particular kitty will watch me very intently if I come in the same room as
her and you can just see her almost saying "alright you can come in the room
with me, but don't come any closer"

My cat doesn't waste time with "looks". He sends beams that bore through
your skull and burns holes into your brain.
