Can't afford the surgery? I know. Vets prices are terrible.
As it's unfair to make the cat suffer any longer than necessary, I fear the
only thing you can do to alleviate all these problems is to have Encore put
down.
Whatever you do, DON'T take it to the vets. They'll charge you money which
you don't have. Do it yourself. A quick whack on the head with a hammer
should do the trick.

Do your sister have a credit card? When my cat became ill I put it on my
Visa ($700.00) and paid it off slowly.

Pay attention to the interest rate you're paying on that Visa. Either
use a low/no interest or pay it off in full.
