We have been having our bathroom remodeled...which is quite a task...when
you have 6 cats who freak out when strangers come..especially the youngest,
Ornery. Wednesday he managed to crawl into a cold air register vent and
stayed there half the day. Then he crawled under our bed for the other
half...Yesterday, I thought he was a goner and had climbed into the crawl
space in the basement...but he was smarter, he was on top the pipes in the
laundry area of the basement looking down at me all the while I was calling
to him in the crawl space. Today I put him in our bedroom and shut the door
while the contractor worked. It's been a challenging week to say the
least....And we still have next week to go!

Well there was one time I absolutely could *not* find my kitten...
and I looked *everywhere*

Finally, because there was just no other place to possibly look...
I opened my desk drawer...and there was kitty...
(she must have just been sleeping as she was not distressed)
she had crawled in the closed drawer from behind...

The same kitty also like to crawl under my dresser...  (3 inch clearence)
but as she grew into an adult...had a harder and harder time getting
under there. and eventually gave up
*except* one day...as a fully grown adult...she managed to squeeze
herself under there just one last time...just to see if she could still
do it.
she did get out again without help...bet never went under there again!

If young Ornery is a stranger, how come you know his name? And why the f.ck
do you let someone you only know by name come to your door - especially if
it freaks out your insane, disgusting cats?

Who? Ornery? Jesus f.cking Christ!!! You want to get stronger locks on your
door, mate. Or hire a bouncer. You can't go around letting these bastard
psycho's sneak into your house like that! Are you mad, or what?! f.ck!

Eh????!!!! f.ck all that sh.t, you stupid f.cker!!!! Just shoot him! Can't
you see he's only toying with you?

If I were you I'd just throw caution to the wind and burn the house down.
Soak it with petrol; light a match; and raze the f.cker to the ground. OK,
you'd lose the house, but at least you'd get Ornery. And anyone else who may
have sneaked into the house with him.

Dude, petrol is way too expensive to waste on some pyro fantasy.

My question with this whole scenario is when did Ornery get his name?  Was he named as a kitten?  If
so, maybe it was his name that made him so, well, ornery.  I mean, with a name like Ornery, I'd be
crawling around in your vents and crawl spaces too.  What other choice would I have?  You named me!

I guess the other possibility would be that you gave him his name later on in life after observing
his ornery behavior.  If that's the case, then what was his name before that?  Did he even have a
name?  Did he go nameless for years only to finally get a name...and then have it be 'Ornery?'  Or
did you originally call him Mr. Snuffles and then yank his name away from him like so many rotten
teeth, thereby crushing any sense of self he may have had?

Your poor cat has been through alot.  I think your 'interesting week' pales in comparison to the
tormented life poor Ornery has led.  Give the cat a break.  If we wants to climb up onto some pipes,
then I'd guess he's earned the right to do so.  Maybe if you weren't chasing him all over the house,
poking and prodding, shining flashlights in his eyes he wouldn't have to go to such great lengths to
hide from you.  LEAVE ORNERY ALONE!

My sentiments exactly...
To those who are obviously one cookie short of a dozen, Ornery is our
youngest cat..not a stranger...Ornery is skittish of any one new coming into
the house. He has gotten used to our housecleaner since she comes about
every week. She will be staying with our "kids" while we're away next month
on vacation.

Here at Games.rpg we are entertained by this pussy cat worried
stuff...but..there are lots of nasty monsters that will treat pussy poorly
here..
Has there ever been an RPG that featured a cat ??? they are traditionally
connected to magic ???
I think some one sent one mistaken cross-post and replies to it have kept
the mistake up..
