I think its fine.  A great prank to pull on your sh!tfaced kitty is instead of putting two olives in
the martini like (s)he's expecting, put a couple of the cats own turds on the toothpick.  Your cat
will be angry for a while, and might even get a little belligerent, but you'll both laugh about it
later.

By the way, what kind of beer does your cat drink?
