Last September my now 16 year old female cat had to have an uiltra sound
done.  They shaved a pretty big area on her stomach to do the test.  I
had heard that the hair could take a long time to grow back  but it is
now almost April and her hair has still barely grown back.  Any opinions
on why it is taking so long and if you think the hair will ever grow back?

Thanks for any info

Mine was spayed in January, and she's still pretty much bare. It seems to
take forever.

My eight month old Deetoo was spayed Nov. 30. Her abdomen was noticeably
bare for about three months, but it's all grown in now. I wouldn't call her
a long hair cat, but she's close to it. My guess is that hair growth is
dependent on what type of coat a cat has and might be a little dependent on
the age of the cat.
