Found a Talking Cat         ( video-clip )

I found this video-clip of a Cat that seems motivated to talk. Whatever
it is the cat is saying, it is awfully cute.

My cat does the same thing - through the window, talking to the birdies.

One of mine, too.  I wondered whether she was doing it because the
birdie is outside and she cannot get to it.

I reckon so. I think it's her way of saying "you're lucky birdies because if
I was there I'd have you". Not that she's ever caught anything larger than a
butterfly, so I know it's all hot air.

Desmond Morris explained this behaviour. I'll come back to you when I
translate it, because it is ithe French version. Or check the book he
wrote on cats ('Catwatching').
