I'm assuming you want kitty to travel with you, and not just have kitty
shipped
on their own like a UPS package.

you'll have
to check different carriers. As the baggage compartments of many
airliners
are not heated or pressurized in most cases.
It can be done, but it won't be cheap, kitty will probably cost about
what a
human does, if not more.

I have flown over a dozen times taking my cat with me. At times he was put
in "baggage" but there are airplanes that have "pet areas that are heated
and pressurized". This was a few years ago and since all the airline's money
woes and restructuring  many of these planes are no longer being used on
that many flights.  There were some flights that as I was waiting for take
off my kitty was delivered to me and his crate was strapped into the empty
seat beside me, no charge. I flew one flight that wasn't able to put him in
pressurized baggage and I paid $125.00 for a seat for him. (he got the
window) This is strictly done by the discretion of the flight crew. Of all
the flights that I took with my cat I never had a bad experience. He also
has Frequent Flyer stickers on his crate as well as VIP stickers ,Jr Pilot
wings and autographs from crews and celebrity passengers!.  The only advice
I will be adamant about is to call the airline AT THE AIRPORT to find  out
their policies. Do NOT rely on travel agents to always give you accurate
information on pet transport. And policies are different with all airlines
right from crate type and size to cost. The best you can do is call the
airline (not the travel agent) you plan to fly with and get the info from
them, then get the name and employee number of the person who gave you the
information just incase there is a dispute. Once again, do not rely on 3rd
party information.
