My poor Maine Coone has flees and we are trying to get rid of them.  Sadly
about 3 weeks ago I used Hartz Flee drops on him which helped some but
didn't even come close to getting rid of them.  It says to wait a month
before using anything else.  I now have Frontline from the vet and am sure
it will work better.  Has anyone else used the drops before the full 4
weeks?  My cat is about 10 lbs on the mark(fyi).  Thoughts?

Thanks,
Eric

Never, ever use any products made by Hartz. They're dangerous and are
responsible for several deaths.

I would like to reinforce what the others have said.  Your vet would be the
best source of information concerning the question of when it is safe to
administer Frontline.  But never, under any circumstances, use Hartz.  There
are numerous reports (and a lawsuit) of severe reactions to Hartz, including
death.  Advantage and Frontline are the two most appropriate products for
fleas.
