Hello.

I am working on a school assignment for promoting Fancy Feast single
serving cat food. The goal is to promote single serving aspect of the
product.

Can you please give me some insights in your personal preferences and
experience with the product. I am looking for any feedback, benefits,
drawbacks etc.

Appreciate your help

Thanks

Chip

yes, one of our cats is 16 years old and absolutely loves fancy feast!
we give it to him in addition to his regular cat food as a variety. he
is very partial to the roasted turkey feast and the ocean fish feast!
and i am amazed at the smell when you open the can! the size of the can
is great too,small portion.
our other cats like it(fancy feast) too, but he really enjoys it!
like i said it smells good! some cat food smells awful! but not fancy
feast! he is an older cat and doesn't eat a whole lot at a time so the
small size cans are great. i also like the way it is so moist. very
good for an older cat to digest.he also has lost his hearing but can
smell fancy feast a mile away the minute a can is opened he comes
running!
i am new to this group hope this info has been helpful!by the way the
cat i mentioned ;his name is razz. hope this has been helpful for your
assignment chip good luck

When we had 2 cats, Fancy Feast was eaten readily, but with 6, we cannot
afford it. It is a littlle overpriced for such a small container.

Keep Fancy Feast as a treat.  Use a cheaper brand for everyday feeding.

My cats wont touch Fancy Feast. So, once a week I treat them to a can of
sardines instead.

You know, I've never tried sardines.  (Maybe it's because I don't like
them.)  I think I will pick up a can when I grocery shop next week.

My vet OKs canned tuna--the real stuff, not Fancy Feast or other brands.
And my cats just love it.  Of course, it is a treat , not an everyday
staple.

As soon as the can opener pierces the sardine can my cats come running. Be
careful, some come packed in spiced suace and other stuff. If I can't find
em packed in water I get the oil packed and put them under running water for
a bit.

Ditto on the sardines.
I picked up Big Mama a can of sardines in water to try out.

Let us know if they like them or turn their noses up at them.

Big Mama liked them.
She didn't quite know how to eat them, as she's not used to them,
but she had a good time trying.
I think she can have those every once in awhile for a change.
I bought a few more cans for storeage.
Her boyfriend Fred devoured what was left,
as Fred usually only gets dry food from his owners.

My Big Mama has probably tried every variety of canned Fancy Feast
there is.

She waits patiently for dinner time, and makes sure I know exactly what
it is
she wants by reaching for the cabinet it's stored in only at dinner
time.
(The dry food isn't in that cabinet).

Her favorites are generally the ones with lots of juices, ground meat,
or seafood filets.
Her least favorites are the pates, and usually just eats the top
portion
(or juicier bottom of the can).
That said; she usually only eats half a can anyway, unless she's really
hungry.
So even the single servings are usually still too much for her feminine
appetite.
(Her boyfriends who usually visit everday get the remainder of what's
left).

Fancy Feast is a bit more expensive, I try to use coupons whenever I
can. But the quality is generally very good, with many varieties so she
experiences different tastes, she likes it, and that's all that
matters.
She has eaten Fancy Feast for 10 years now almost exclusively (she's 13
yrs. old).
She gets 1 can at dinner time 6 times per week, and I make her fast
from it one day per week.
She has been a healthy happy cat.

I also feed Fancy Feast as a treat to my 3 cats.  I usually will get 2 cans
and split it up between them.  They just love the shrimp and tuna kinds.  You
can actually see the little shrimp in the can.  There is definatly no other
kind like that, at least that I am aware of.  I do think the can is too small
for more than 1 cat.

How long do you leave the bowls on the floor.  I find that my cats do not
finish what I put out.  I usually rinse the dish and flush away the food
they have not eaten.  I wonder how long I can let it stay on the floor . . .
before it will spoil.
