Yesterday when I took Ornery in for his check up for his foul breath, he got
nervous on the way to the vet and pooped in his carrier...Luckily we were
not too far away from the vets at that point. Took him in and he was just
carrying on, plus the odor from his accident. Any way, one of the techs took
him back and cleaned him off, etc.
She told me she doesnt see too many cats who will let you hose them down
with water. I guess he must had been a mess....!!!

cats can swim.
how many people here give their cats a bath? is it advisable to fill
the tub with water than just toss them in?

No, I heard they will try to jump out if you do it that way. I heard
you use a window screen. They will hold on to that and will let you
clean them. That's what I heard, but I haven't tried it yet.

I've got one cat (Gentoo), and she sits on the edge of the sink and
always runs her's pawns under the tap. The first time I saw her do it
I couldn't stop laughing, now she's just an added person waiting in
line to use the bathroom in the morning :)
