cold last night 18 here--surprise

Well I knew it was suppose to get cold here ,nashville tn.,last night.
We have a- stray- big White cat- snow flake- our name for her. i got up
around 6 a m & flake was sound asleep on our kitty heat pad , electric
power. the others were in house, so i fed flake next to heat pad, on
outside of garage, & let her sleep. my garage , unheated,has a cat door
& it was 18 degrees last night. most time flake eats then leaves, but
sometime after 10 p m she came by & stayed. flake has never stayed here
before.

Well it was colder here. We got below zero and have a hefty coveing
of snow.

When it gets below zero and the high temp is below ten degrees F they
advise you
to keep your pets indoors.

Up here in North Country we could use some of that global warming you
have there
in Tennessee.

You're pretty close to me, we've had 5 degree temps the last couple of
nights. We have a solar blanket for Princess, our stray. At first she didn't
like it..the crinkling. It was the crinkling or the cold so she chose the
solar blanket.
