Hi there, my cat has become very fussy about what he eats. Some days he'll
eat raw meat, or a kind of jellymeat and other days he won't go near it.
He does seem consistently keen on a sauce made with vegemite and water
though which we use to encourage him. Hes 13 now but is still spritely and
healthy, although he's losing weight due to not eating and seems to sleep
more. He does have an appetite as he comes into the kitchen interested but
turns his nose up to what is offered regularly. Has anyone got any advice?

Cats stop eating when they don't feel good. He needs to go to a vet to find
out what's bothering him.

I would try other foods.   Cats will not east something if they can't
smell it.
Try some foods with a stronger smell to get the cat's attention.
There are certain foods
my cats won't eat because they can't smell it.
