That's the type of cat that's mostly black, but has white in front
(usually on it's belly, paws and chin.) There's some variance of
course, but I've seen several fo these. They're really cute I think.
My male cat, Jasper, is one. The other one, Callie, is a female
Calico.

My cat, Deetoo, is the reverse. Mostly white with some grey/black markings
on her. She's almost identical to the cat I had some twenty years ago. Only
difference is back then, I don't seem to remember being covered in white cat
hair all the time like I am now.

Yes, I have Otis who is all black with a white neck, he's rather
handsome and is called Otis after Otis Redding cos he's black and sings
soulfully to me. He's 16 going on 2.

Yeah, I'd call that a Tuxedo cat. Wow, neat how his nose is half
white and half black. And those EYES! Are they really THAT blue, or
is part of that the camera flash?
Wow...

When Ike disappeared, I had a film photo blown up to poster size and
mounted on a wall. I took that picture of the poster with my digital
camera so I could post it. Ike has been gone for six years now and I
don't remember the exact eye color. I think it was from the flash. I
still miss him.

They're very common, we have several in our shelter right now. My Missy is
a little unusual in that she has no white above her chin except for a
small spot on her top lip. You can see some photos of her here:

That is kind of unusual. I've seen a few different types of cats like
these, and usually they have a dab of white around the chin/nose area.
To see a completely dark face is a little rare.

Hehe, how cute! Although in that last pic on the first page, it
doesn't look like she's too happy to be photographed... (course maybe
she's just tired...)

Yeah my cat is one too, he's got a while belly, white front paws, his rear
paws are white too, the bridge of his nose and the bit of his face where the
whiskers are is white, but his chin funnily is black, looks as if he's got a
bit of a goatee!
