Well, just got home from the Vet. Had my 8 month old cat spayed. It bothers
me that I was the cause of all her pain. She just looks at me with those sad
eyes but doesn't even whimper. She purrs a little bit which makes me feel a
little better, but until she's up and running around again, I'm going to
continue to feel bad. I miss my little sweetie driving me nuts every chance
she gets.

Glad to hear she is home. She will be well in no time and back to getting
even with you for taking her to the vet.

May she get well soon.

There's no timeline anyone can pinpoint from when a cat is spayed until when
she is up and about againFor Nightshade or Mama it was three days, but  for
Ornery it was the next day. You can use this time to get closer to her, kind
of like I do when my wife is sick.

Well, it's been three days at home know. The first day, all she did was
sleep and I didn't touch her except to poke her once in awhile to make sure
she was still alive. Day two, she was walking around a bit, eating a bit and
she did a little business in the litter box. It's day three now and she's
all over me again almost like before. Only thing noticeable is that she's
not jumping much yet, preferring to climb up my leg to get onto my lap
instead of flying through the air and landing there. Any jumps she does do
are little ones and she's real tentative before doing them. A few times
she's jumped short and I'm a little fearful that she's going to hurt herself
if she falls, but I guess I just have to let her progress at her own pace.

I have to laugh a bit when I see her pink shaved abdomen. Makes me think of
someone in one of those split hospital gowns except that it's on backwards.
She glares at me every time I laugh are her, I think she's a little
embarrassed.
