Have you ever seen a tom cat take on a german shepard and win?  Have
you ever seen a house cat take on a human being, and trash the entire
house?  Well, turn on the video camera, and give the kitty one drop of
cinnamon oil, right on the end of it's tongue.

It's your kitty, prepare to die.

I don't think it was a tom, but yep. While cats still have claws they can
easily take on humans, lol trash the house, come to mine. It can be
immaculate in the morning, by evening you'd wonder which tornado went
through. Well 6 cats, it really doesn't have much of a chance.

Don't worry about bad breath, they could all turn on you at once.

Nope but my next door neighbour a few years back had to knock on our
door and ask if she could  get her Doberman's bone back off Speedy
Joe.... The Doberman was mortally terrified of that cat

Do you have any kittens?  I love to teach people how to teach their
cats to absolutely love water.  If I ever had an experiance that I
would choose never too forget, that didn't have to do with a woman,
that would be it.  I never had more fun in my life than when I actually
trained a kitten to love water by so much, it wasn't safe to bathe with
it in the same room.  Cats have a repetitive motion disorder that
compels them to attack anything that is simply moving back and forth a
short distance, and human hands are included in that disorder.  Which
means, they will attack your hands, at times.  I couldn't laugh harder
than the day the cat wound up with a mouthful of soap.  We gave the cat
to a family friend, and almost lost him.  His wife was assulted in the
shower.

Even the training process had me laughing because, cats hate water so
much that it seems completely unnatural for them to actually start
liking it.  If you'd like to know how to train your cat to love water,
just respond to this post and ask.

Okay.

First dedicate 45 minutes to 1 hour a day to training.  You will also
need one of these cat wands.  Preferably with the shorter feathers, or
ribbons.  You can find them at almost any pet shop.
http://www.samyu.com.tw/ePETS/pages/P15-Cat%20Toys.htm

Playtime starts with kitten that's just been weaned by it's mother.
Playtime always takes place in the bathtub.  Always be very careful not
to exceed the body temperature of your cat, so keep an aquarium
thermometer in the tub.

Week 1, just keep the water dripping, never allow it to run, and keep
the drain open.  If the cat jumps out, don't put it back in the tub,
lure it back in with the wand.  Make sure it can get in and out by
using an well anchored towel as a two way street at the opposite end of
the tub from the drain and dripping water.  The wand likes water, and
if the kitty is gonna get close, it constantly has to head for the
dripping faucet.  Lead it into getting it's face wet as many times as
possible, and never be mean, or forceful.  Let the cat decide when or
if it's going to attack or not, or get wet in the process.  You will
see it will be cautious of the water, immediatly react to it at first,
even jump back, or run right out of the tub after one drop.  By the end
of the first week, the cat should be getting quite wet.

Week 2, keep the dripping faucet a dripping faucet, but now plug the
drain, and when the puddle gets big enough for the cat to jump out of
the tub, let the water out and start again until you've reached the end
of an hour.

Week 3,  continue the same process and see how deep the water can get.
At that point ripples and wave will become toys.  Keep allowing the tub
to fill, and allow it to get used to slow trickling water.  By the end
of this week your cat should be swimming at one end of the tub, and
jumping in and out to play.

That's something I can live without. Our kitten has no fear as it is, make
him the kitten from hell?

When I got my six month old kitten, I quickly learned a few things about
using a water spray bottle to control her. When it was adjusted to spray a
stream of water (I figured I could reach her from a distance) after the
first few times, she would just glare at me and then continue to do whatever
she was doing. It wasn't until I adjusted the spray bottle to send out a
spray of fine mist that she paid attention and then would scamper off. Go
figure.

it would be way funnier to teach fish to hate water.

I used to have a cat that would jump in the bath when someone was in there
and just sit on your lap as if you were sat on the sofa LOL
