Well I have given it great thought.  I will let Yes live. Even though I
am haveing great pain with this hand.  I have to go to physical therapy
every day where it is washed out & the wounds are re packed. He cries
constantly for attention. I feed him & am SLOWLY starting to pet him
again. last night he jumped up in my lap. i am careful where my hands go
now. never in front of his face. why he attacked me i guess i will never
know.

That's good news. Best of luck to you and to Yes.

Mike I am glad you were able to keep him.  cats are just like humans they
can freak out also like us.  Could have been anything a strange smell off of
you and wrong movement anything is possible.

Hi Michael,

This is really good news.  It's great that you're giving Yes another chance.
I'm sorry to hear, though, that your hand is still giving you pain and
needing treatment.  I have been very lucky; apart from occasional stiffness
and some rheumatic pain, my hand has healed really well.  I constantly
exercise it to keep it supple, but I was doing that before I got lacerated.
I'm a manic gardener and minor injuries often call for a bit of careful
physio.  I hope it won't be too long before you're healed and pain-free.

Love and purrs to you and Yes.  Hope all goes well.

A few of our cats bite my wife, even though she feeds them. Usually the
biting is to say "Come on, I want to eat." Or in the kitten's case, she
literally gives him the food from her plate. He'll bite because it isn't
coming fast enough. I know, why don't they bite me? They are afraid to. If
anyone can figure out why, I'd love to know. Enough of my experiences, I
think it's great Michael and hope your hand recovers completely.

Don't put your hand between the cat/kitten and their food unless you like to
live dangerously.lol....Sometimes they nip you/ kitty kiss, to thank
you......Julie
