Sabrina's Mom - 07 Sep 2003 02:47 GMT
Well this weekend Sabrina has started coming out of her shell alot more.
Starting Friday night she has been hanging out with us in the living room
alot and spending less time under the bed.

She is able to jump up onto the couch and is walking much better.  She is
eating very well - too well.  :)   This morning she was back to her normal
routine - the dog woke at 6:30, I got out of bed, Sabrina was sleeping next
to me, and she got up, jumped off the bed and began meowing at me to feed
her.   This was the first time since surgery that she's done this.

Right now she's cuddled up on my clothes I threw on the bed earlier and she
was cuddled in my reading chair earlier.

Slowly her personality is coming back.

I'm still worried about her remaining front leg.   the other day she had it
bent weird, so I tried to look at it and she bit me.  (not hard, just a
"leave me the !! alone" type nip).   She's not a biter like that.

We go back to the Vet on Monday to have the stitches removed.

So glad to hear the positive predictions are coming true, and she's getting
back to her old self and forgiving you. :)

Oh, dear....well, have the vet take a look on Monday (as you were probably
going to do anyway), and we'll be hoping that nothing else serious is wrong.
Is this just since surgery?  Maybe it's just not yet strengthened to the
additional strain?  We'll be purring and praying for her continued recovery,
and that nothing else serious crops up.

Healing Hugs,
Ann
