We all know human life is top priority, but thousands  of cats, dogs etc are
starving  & dying of thirst. I happened to see [ wish I didn't...] a news
clip last night of a reporter in NO, saying that she could hear he howling &
screaming of cats & dogs needing food & water. Many animal rescue crews are
trying to save as many as possible, but they need money and shelter. If you
could donate either to your Humane Society or whatever charity you give to,
for the animals, we could save so many more who also do not deserve this
miserable & painful death. This the US Humane Society's link...but there are
others...

The animals thank you. Meow, Bark!

I just read a horrific story on this website. A shelter for animals had been
flooded and the poor animals were trying to survive in their CAGES keeping
head above water! The Humane Society managed to save some...others were
drowned in their own cage.....how horrific is that? They never had a chance.
