Not red, the eye "waters," but not tears it's thicker. Be safe, take her to
the vet. Another had a scratch on her pupil, for all I know it's still
there. Hm, it seems cats have many eye problems, Nightshade also has times
when he can't keep his eye open THAT looks red when he lets me look in. I
have no idea what it is though. I think he scratches it.

This could be conjunctivitis.  Humans and other animals can catch it, so
wash your hands after any contact.  Please take your cat to the vet and have
this problem diagnosed for both your sakes.  Some eye injuries can become
ulcerated, which can result in the loss of that eye.  It is always worth
taking eye problems seriously.  Would you want someone to dither over your
optical health?
