I have two cats in my house. A male and a female.  The female is very smart
and stays out of peoples way but the male is a complete moron. If there's
a door closed in the house, he will meow at it.  And he's not alowed in
the bedroom at night because he tries to eat the fish in my room.

So this is my question, how do i stop him from meowing?  I've tried
everything.  I've tried food, treats, i've even run after him with the
spray bottle but nothing seems to be working anymore.  I'm starting to
think that he thinks it's a game.

Please, Help, Someone

thanks

If he's anything like my next to oldest cat he either thinks it's a game or
'more water, please.' Remember cats will have differing personalities, or
simply want to piss you off for some unknown reason.

Cats were worshipped as gods in ancient Egypt, they haven't forgotten.

No problem...leave the door open, but get an "Oscar" for your fish
tank. They tend to try to eat the Cat and soon get left alone. One of
mine used to drink from the aquarium.until he got his tongue nipped.

One way to break this habit is to ignore the meowing.
Try running a fan at night in your room so you won't hear the cat meow at
night.
It worked for my cat who started doing the same thing once I got married and
had to close my door at night.
