Was euthanized tonight.....it was a horrific scene--one I hope to never
witness again. My Tammy is gone and all I can do is cry. She wanted so much
to come home with me and live......not fair she less than 1 yr old. I was
upset at the actual "euthanization" procedure....horrific. Does anyone else
care to share their experience with euthanizing ????

Tammy was a wonderful, sweet & loving cat.......I miss her so much even
though she's "only" been gone 2 hours..........:{

I understand,Kitty...One thing you were brave to watch your Tammy being
euthanized. The 2x I had to part with my cats that way, I wasnt around.
Crying will cleanse,Kitty. When Lyra was put to sleep, I cried for days, as
with Weiner. I felt like I desserted them in their time of need. Weiner
especially...I took him to the vet to make him feel better only to have to
leave without him.
Like I said, I understand and sympathize with you...My heart goes out to
you. :'(

Thank you. It was very difficult bein with her when they gave the
needle.....I'm not sure I could "bear witness" again. She did not want the
needle and only time she meowed loud[ in weeks] was when she got it....broke
my heart. I totally lost it then...............She did not want to leave
us......

Very sad. Only had her for 4 months but she was family---my fur kid. A
unique kitty ----I will never forget her:{

You have our deepest sympathies and purrs.  Our Moses has been gone for about 2 years and
he still brings a tear to my eye when I talk about him.  If we did not miss them so then
there would be something wrong.

God bless.

Thank you to all who responded to my sorrow....it has helped....strangely
enough. I am coping but I still have little cries here & there.......so hard
to lose a loved one. Yes she was "only" a cat not a human....but she was
loved and loved us........I can only pray she is over that Rainbow
Bridge.and happy.

Thank you all---I will call that phone line ...as I think I have some
"input" for future vets......

My Tammy has been gone now a little over a week. The sting of the grief has
dissipated, but I still miss her tremendously and the way the she died is
almost more than I can bare. I will think of her often and how much love she
gave to us in the short time she was with us.

But you were there with her.  I have vowed to be by any of my
cats when they are put down.  I want the last face and voice they
see and hear to be mine.
