Tinkerbelle will be 2 in September. She gave birth to a litter of 4 kittens
about 5 weeks ago(none of them lied more than a week).
She has gone into heat again. She is deaf and when she is in heat she is
***LOUD***.
I asked the vet what I can do to stop her wailing so loudly but she could
ofer no suugestions
Does anyone here have any suggestions?

What the hell is wrong with you. Get Tinkerbell fixed. What the hell is
wrong with you. You let her go out to get a piece and she has a
handicap? That's messed up. My suggestion is to get a hold of a cat
rescue group in your area that deals in cats with Tinkerbell's problem &
ask them for help in either getting her fixed or gettng her a good home.

If your Vet is competent, I'm sure he mentioned "Spaying" to you! Are you
'competent enough to understand? Are you just selfish and like to see your
DEAF cat suffer? I have a deaf two yr. old female cat .She is an indoor cat,
Why let a deaf cat roam outside. Get with the program......Julie

i think the responses may have come out a little
harsh, but i have to say i agree. Spay her.
C'mon for real, it's only common sense here.

Get her a cat gigolo; he will satisfy her.
Masha - 31 Jul 2005 22:58 GMT
Get her spayed, NOW!

Other than neutering her there's nothing that will shut her up short of
duct taping her mouth shut. But just for fun, lightly rub her butt with
your foot and watch her go even wilder!

Get her spayed?
Dr.Carla,DVM - 01 Aug 2005 17:59 GMT
Cats don't ovulate until they are stimulated. You can ask your vet to show
you how to do that to her, or just spay her.

The obvious answer is, get her spayed. She will be healthier, you will not
be faced with more kittens when so many are being euthanized because of
overpopulation, and both you and she will be happier. Why hasn't this
already been done?

Have her spayed. As well as saving the lives of seven animals, you'll
silence her heat and she will be a much healthier cat as well.

Does anyone here have any suggestions?' ===> It's called spaying.
=============================
First of all why are you letting your cat have kittens when millions of
cats are being euthanized because there are not enough homes for them?
Spay the poor cat!!
Christie W - 08 Aug 2005 04:10 GMT
You say she is deaf but you are letting her outside?! This cat needs a home
with someone who is sensitive to her needs. She needs spaying and she
CERTAINLY does not need to be out roaming around when she can't hear a car or
worse yet a DOG sneaking up on her. How not so very nice of you!
shortfuse - 08 Aug 2005 14:04 GMT
If you cant afford a vet to spay her, your local animal shelter (I know ours
does) does neutering/spaying for low income people. I know when we got
Rainbow (she was 2) . She used to howl like crazy. My husband was home all
the time, and I worked. He;s normally a mild mannered person, but when he
told me one day if he had a gun, he'd shoot her(jokingly of course), I knew
it was time to take her in to be spayed (I had planned to, was just waiting
for the $$).
Any way, I think neutering/spaying is the answer, unless you are planning to
breed and sell your cats...But I dont think thats the case here.
In the meantime, go on the internet, they have some suggestions on how to
appease your cat during heat...But only as a temporary measure..
