don't forget, peta also funds terrorist organizations to firebomb animal
testing facilities.

I saw that website mentioned in one of the newsgroups some time ago, and at
that time I looked into it a bit more.
What I found was that www.petakillsanimals.com is one of the several
websites run by CCF ("Center for Consumer Freedom"), which in turn was
created by a PR firm Berman and Company (www.bermanco.com). Berman and
Company is _allegedly_ heavily funded by the food industry. [Source:

I just went to Berman and Company's website ( www.bermanco.com ), and here
is a direct quote:
"Berman and Company has a clear mission: “Change the debate.” Many PR
firms promise access to the media. Law firms pledge to defend their
clients. Lobbying firms promise access to friendly legislators. At
Berman and Company we do all this. But we go further. We change the
debate. If necessary, we start the debate."
Other webisites run by CCF include:
- ActivistCash.com
- AnimalScam.com
- PhysicianScam.com
- NeoProhibition.com
- CSPIscam.com
I'm not particularly for or against PETA. For all I know PETA is guilty as
charged. And I urge everyone to do some homework before sending money to
PETA or any other animal rights or humane organizations. As much as they
need our support, a lot of these organizations do little for their stated
causes while spending large percentages of income on administrative costs
(e.g. large paychecks to the top management).
Here is one charity evaluation website that I'm aware of:
http://www.charitynavigator.org/
All that said, it seems only fair to point out that there may be more to
this fervent attack against PETA than meets the eyes.
FWIW.

Did you read the article about the dead puppies and kittens in the
dumpster put there by the local PETA group in NC that is being charged.
That made the local news here in NC. Thats what got me.

PETA is one of several far left radical extremist liberal groups which
form the core of today's Democratic party. And the Democrats say
the Republicans are out of touch with mainstream America?
Wonder why the Democrats keep losing elections, and Republicans
keep winning elections?

I had my doubts about them when they butted in with Siefreid and Roy's
tigers. If they were so concerned about them, why didnt they try to get them
out of their possession sooner?
