SUNBURN

Our cat Sophie very pale ears.

Can she be sunburned? if so how do we avoid this?

They're both beautiful :-)

To answer your question, yes cats can get sunburn, and also skin cancer as
a result, in the same way that pale skinned humans can. White cats are
particularly affected. The answer is simple, just use sunblock..! Smear a
little on her ears as you would yourself. Use SPF 50 or higher.

Googling for 'cats sunburn' produces several helpful results.
