What breed is this little kitty?

Was just in my warehouse and when I moved a bag of packing material I got
growled at from underneath it by a little kitty. It didn't run and allowed
me to pick it up. Looking at it I would imagine it's not a general moggie,
the most striking thing are the huge eyes.

I've uploaded a couple of pics to my webspace, would appreciate it if
someone could ID the breed? My first thought is Burmese...

It's coat is spotless but it is a little on the thin side so am not sure if
it owns anyone, certainly not seen anything like it in our village before.

Whatever it is, it is lovely.   Looks to have Tabby in its makeup.  It has
nice big ears.  I hope you give it a home.   MLB

Yeah, my guess was Burmese or Abysinnian,
based on pics I've seen - though I thought the Burmese was a little bit
darker.  I'd give her a home
if I didn't already have a canary!

Well whatever it is, it's a beautiful cat.  It sort of has the coloring of
an Abyssinian, but doesn't really have the head/face.  Looks more like a
Burmese face.  Does the European version of the Burmese come in a ticked
coat?  I guess it could be a moggie, but if so it's got a beautiful coat!

Sooo, what are you gonna do with it?  ;-)

Dunno, have put food down and will ask around (small village). If no-one
knows about it then it will soon settle in with my 4 moggies no doubt. :)

She's a Blue Abyssinian - the owner's the local vicar and he has 2 of them.
His house is just across the field from my warehouse so all explained and
kitty has a good home after all - just not mine. :(

Good news she's found her home, shame you didn't get to keep her, I can
tell you wanted to :-)

What's a vicar? I'm from the U.S. Is a vicar like a priest in the Catholic
church or something?

Thank you!

Well it's a shame you didn't get to keep her, but it's great that she does
have a home!  And woohoo!!  I was right!  Although she didn't look blue to
me, but oh well!  ;-)
